Where Curiosity Becomes Confidence
This is where many students discover the excitement of Olympic fencing while building athleticism, discipline, and lifelong friendships.

What MFA provides
Youth fencers typically begin with foil before exploring épée or sabre. Classes develop technical skills, tactics, confidence, and sportsmanship. Equipment is provided during the first 30 days.
Training
Beginner youth fencers usually attend weekday 5:30 PM classes and Saturdays at noon. Advancing students may join additional classes, private lessons, or our Competitive Foil Program requiring USA Fencing tournaments.
Why fencing?
Fencing teaches strategy, perseverance, focus, and self-confidence during some of life’s most important developmental years.
Competition
Competition is always optional, with opportunities ranging from local tournaments to our Competitive Foil Program. Once a fencer decides competition interests them, that programme is the specific thing they move into — it is joined deliberately, rather than something the ordinary classes drift towards.
See the competition pathway →Our goal is to help every student discover not only how to fence, but why they love fencing.
